Tom McTear - Broker/Owner
Tom has been a multi-million dollar producing realtor since 1989, with over 22 years of real-life experience. As a “broker” he has attained the highest level of licensing. As owner of McTear Realtors & Co. he will work directly with you—or will oversee one of our highly trained agents. Tom is a fourth-generation broker continuing a family legacy founded in 1910 and his yearly average is 40+ transactions. On a personal level, Tom has been married since 1990 to his wife, Jackie, and have been blessed with three precious children. He is passionate about exercise, travel, cooking and especially music.

Jackie McTear "HON FUN" - Assistant, Director of Marketing and Blogger
Jackie, a professional graphic designer, joined McTear Realtors & Co. in 2003 and is responsible for all creative and marketing material. Her role as an assistant is to provide help to Tom, our highly trained agents and to our valued clients. Her duties for helping buyers include: Setting up showing appointments; scheduling inspections and closings; administration & bookkeeping and client follow-up. On a personal note Jackie is Tom’s wife and mother to their three wonderful children. She spent her early childhood in London, England with her English father and American mother. She’s currently studying web design, loves to cook with Tom, exercise and is active in her children’s schools as well as her neighborhood. Her "Hon Fun" blog is devoted to her and Tom's adventures in Baltimore.

Johanna van Eerten - van Duin
Johanna joined the McTear Realtors & Co. team in 2005 and is skilled in assisting both buyers and sellers in the Baltimore and Washington areas, specializing in the Bolton Hill area of Baltimore City. Johanna is a native of Holland and is fluent in Dutch. She has been living and working in the United States for more than 25 years as a highly successful hairdresser in both Boston, MA and Washington DC. On a personal note, Johanna is married to her wonderful husband, George, is an avid gardener, home decorator, cook and loving dog owner. She has been a resident of Baltimore, MD since 1989.
